I’m LaKiya Pettis — a woman of faith, a proud boy mom, Navy veteran, and the heart behind Healing Crowns. Born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan, and now thriving in Covington, Georgia, I’ve walked through seasons that tested, refined, and ultimately strengthened my relationship with God. Through every chapter, His grace has been my guide and the foundation for how I live, love, and lead others.

 

With a master’s degree in pastoral care and academic studies in clinical mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, and psychology, I bring both faith and professional insight to the work I do. My background in military medical service and customer care taught me the power of compassion, patience, and truly listening—qualities that now allow me to sit with others in their pain, walk with them through healing, and celebrate their growth.

 

I believe that healing is not a single moment—it’s a lifelong journey of faith, self-discovery, and transformation. My passion is helping others reconnect with their purpose, rediscover their strength, and cultivate the spiritual and emotional wholeness needed to live abundantly.

 

When I’m not coaching or pouring into others, I love spending time with my sisterhood and family, diving into God’s Word, and embracing new adventures that feed my soul and personal growth. Every experience reminds me that healing is holy work—and I’m honored to walk beside others as they discover who they are and who God created them to be.
